Ectropis obliqua nuclear polyhedrosis virus (EoNPV) is a specialized pathogenic microorganism targeting tea geometrid pests. When sprayed on crops and consumed by pests, virus particles replicate within the insect's body, spreading rapidly through all tissues. The virus consumes internal structures, causing feeding and movement cessation during infection, ultimately leading to pest mortality.
Newly hatched larvae consuming virus-infected egg shells perish after feeding. Virus particles continue transmission to subsequent generations and other pests through body fluids and feces of deceased insects, creating a persistent "plague" effect that provides extended field pest control.

- Efficient & Long-lasting: Virus spreads through insect populations creating domino effects with remarkable aftereffects
- Non-resistance: No resistance development, suitable for long-term use against highly resistant insects
- Eco-friendly: Targets only specific host pests without affecting natural enemies, preserving ecosystem balance
- Environmental Compatibility: Low pollution, energy-efficient production with minimal carbon emissions
- Cost-effective: Long-lasting effectiveness reduces application frequency and labor costs
For vegetables requiring minimal processing — such as salads, sushi, and similar foods — product quality and safety requirements are paramount. Chemical pesticides possess strong toxicity, and even after thorough washing, residues can persist in vegetables and fruits.
Long-term consumption of produce containing chemical pesticides negatively impacts human health. Biopesticides contain no chemical additives, are manufactured using natural processes, are harmless to crops, and ensure food safety from the source.
As green and non-pollution concepts become deeply rooted in consumer consciousness, bio-pesticides have emerged as the optimal choice for implementing sustainable green control in modern agriculture.
