Product Description
Mosquito Larvae Insecticide Pool Killing BTi Most Effective Wriggler Trap
Bacillus thuringiensis subsp. Israelensis (Bti) is a naturally occurring bacterium that has been used for mosquito-borne disease control since its discovery. This highly specific insecticide effectively targets and eliminates mosquito larvae.
The parasporal crystal of Bti serves as the primary insecticidal component. When mosquito larvae ingest it, the crystal degrades and releases toxic molecules that bind to specific receptors in the intestinal membrane. This process leads to paralysis, bowel perforation, starvation, and ultimately death. Note that Bti does not provide extended control, requiring re-treatment for subsequent larval development.
Bacillus thuringiensis (Israel subspecies) is a naturally isolated pathogenic microorganism specifically effective against mosquito larvae. Produced through biological fermentation technology, it represents the most widely used microbial insecticide for controlling mosquito larval populations.

Carton size 480*260*330mm
Application Urban river, rice field, roadside, fountain where there is less mosquito larvae. Stockyards, slaughter house, sewage treatment works where there is a lot of mosquito larvae
Working Mechanism
Bacillus thuringiensis subsp. israelensis (B.t.i) is one of the most widely used microbial mosquitocides globally. The mechanism involves Insecticidal Crystal Proteins (ICP) releasing toxic substances under alkaline conditions and protease enzymolysis in the larval midgut, leading to larval paralysis and disruption of potassium ion balance.
It effectively targets larvae of Culex, Aedes, Anopheles, Mansonia, and Black fly species.
  • Biologically captures oxygen and promotes the growth of beneficial anaerobic microorganisms to maintain intestinal ecological balance
  • Antagonizes pathogenic microorganisms and improves in vitro-in vivo ecological environment
  • Enhances immune function and promotes disease resistance in animals
  • Promotes intestinal development and enhances digestive enzyme activity
  • Produces various nutrients including vitamins, amino acids, organic acids, and growth factors
Highlights
High Luring and Fast Action
Safe and Eco-friendly: Specifically targets mosquito larvae while being safe for humans and other animals
Highly Efficient: Thoroughly eliminates mosquito populations
No Drug Resistance: Remains effective against mosquitoes that have developed resistance to other insecticides
Easy to Use: Requires no special tools - simply place the gel in affected areas
