On August 7, 2023, CCTV channel one "Focus Interview" interviewed the Hangzhou Disease Vector Biological Control Practice Teaching Base (Qiandao Lake Insect Science Popularization Museum) established by Wuhan Unioasis in Qiandao Lake, focusing on the development and future of new forms of insect natural education.
Quan Hongjuan, the Director of Operations of the Teaching Base, led the Focus Interview team to visit the Qiandao Lake Insect Science Popularization Museum and gave a detailed introduction to the innovation and characteristics of the first comprehensive insect science popularization experience museum in China that integrates live insect natural education and vector pest science popularization. At the same time, she demonstrated to the team the technological advantages and determination of Unioasis in building a "green prevention and control" education goal and advocating the promotion of biological control technology.
The museum is divided into two areas: the Insect Science Popularization Museum and the Hangzhou Disease Vector Biological Control Practice Teaching Base. Through immersive experiences such as specimen display, interaction with live insects, and professional exhibitions and graphic presentations of the four pests of disease vectors, children and families who come to visit can deeply understand the diversity of species, understand the harm and help that pests and beneficial insects bring to humans, and teach children how to protect beneficial insects, how to control pests and establish children's outlook on life and the world. As a member of the Earth, humans can better coexist harmoniously with various organisms in nature.
The settlement of Hangzhou's first vector based biological control practice teaching base in Chun'an has attracted great attention from various media outlets, who have come to report on it. We will also comprehensively explore the diversity of insect species in Qiandao Lake here, and strive to build the Qiandao Lake Insect Science Popularization Museum into a localized, differentiated, and distinctive natural insect ecological science popularization museum.

Wuhan Unioasis Biological Technology Co., Ltd. was founded by experts and professors of Wuhan University on December 2, 2002. It is a national high-tech enterprise integrating the R&D, production and sales of insect viruses, bacteria, fungi and other beneficial microorganisms. In October 2018, Lin Chunhong, the president of Wuhan Unioasis, was invited to attend the SCO summit in China (Qingdao). As the only enterprise representative, he made a report entitled "Wuhan Unioasis contributes to the great agricultural development of SCO countries", and put forward the concept of "double reduction and double saving", which was deeply concerned by participants from different countries. In June 2019, he was invited to attend the inaugural meeting of "International Ecological Community Alliance Life Community" held at the Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He made a report on "being an ecological restorer in the ecosystem", which proposed to solve the problems of agricultural non-point source pollution and reducing agricultural residues of agricultural products by using microbial technology to improve soil and restore ecology, so as to lay the theoretical foundation and practical scheme of harmonious coexistence between human and nature.
In November 2020, Wuhan Unioasis won the title of "Top Ten Brand Enterprises of Biological Pesticides and Biological Control" issued by the "Strategic Alliance for Technological Innovation of Biological Pesticides and Biological Control Industry" established by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China. In December 2020, Wuhan Unioasis won the title of "Top Twenty of Biological Agriculture" issued by the 2020 International Agricultural Food Top 100 Future · Baima Summit (IFA2020). In 2021, at the 12th China (Pingyi) Honeysuckle Industry Development Summit, Wuhan Unioasis signed a contract with Jiujianpeng Group to jointly build a "botanical hospital of traditional Chinese medicine". Up to now, the "Learning Power" platform has reported Wuhan Unioasis eight times.
