TC muscalure is an oily substance, the melting point is <0^oC, the boiling point is 378^OC, the vapor pressure is 4.7mPa (27^oC), the refractive index is n²⁰_p1.46, and the density is 0.807g/cm³.

The toxicity of this product is acute transdermal LD₅₀>23070mg/kg in rats and acute transdermal LD₅₀>2025mg/kg in rabbits. Mainly used as an attractant for miscellaneous houseflies, sometimes mixed with pesticides as poisons.

2.Muscalure is widely used combined with insecticides to enhance the killing ability.The suggest dose in formulation is 0.05-0.5%.
3.Muscalure is to gather insects to entice the pest to gather and feed, and to kill the pests. As the male and female housefly sex attractant, mating disruption, sometimes as poison and mixed pesticides.

Methods of use and experience summary:
1. The attractant is soluble in n-hexane, soluble in ethanol, liquid can be directly added.
2. Before use, it should be placed in an environment of 50-60 degrees for 2-3 hours. It can become transparent after temperature return, and can be used in hot water bath or oven
